stop & shop restore
Stop & Shop Restore is a sustainability program that offsets the carbon emissions of customers’ vehicles any time they fill up at a Stop & Shop fuel station. I redesigned the program website to better reflect Stop & Shop’s latest brand and support an improved content strategy.

PROJECT DETAILS & Process
This website redesign required visual and content overhauls. GreenPrint conducted a digital survey targeting New England to gauge program awareness. Results showed a lack of awareness about the program with customers, so much so that some respondents were surprised that Stop & Shop (a grocery chain) had gas stations.
Throughout the site, I emphasized the connection between grocery trips and getting gas as errands that go together using photography and copy. I included a program video on the home page, associate quotes, and a callout to the company’s other initiatives to show that Restore is a natural extension of Stop & Shop’s sustainability efforts.
Educating shoppers about how the program offsets emissions was a key consideration. I made space to walk through Restore and the carbon offset process, writing clean copy and using GIFs to lighten a dense topic.
